Hardware Inventory Manager

Job Description:

The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Guns ‘N Roses, and thousands more of the world’s top Artists and their teams depend on atVenu to manage their concert merchandise sales. The Hardware Inventory Manager is a critical role within atVenu responsible for our fleet of point of sale hardware used by the music industry’s largest companies. You’ll be solely responsible for the components these events depend on to sell millions of dollars worth of merch to event going fans.


  • As part of atVenu's Customer Experience team, you'll work closely with each team member on a daily basis to coordinate customer hardware needs
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts for each component of our Register (Point of Sale) kits
  • Project hardware needs for new customers and increased activity
  • Update schedule of customer inventory needs to forecast daily needs and identify any shortages
  • Create new hardware orders as needed for approval
  • Manage all outbound and inbound shipments
  • Generate UPS, FedEx, or freight shipments, pickups, and returns
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues if they occur
  • Work with our Mobile Device Management software (JAMF) to assign and manage devices
  • Keep devices (iPads) up to date with latest software, charged, and clean
  • Troubleshoot any issues with iPads. Ex. Apps not installing or device not checking into JAMF
  • Generate packing slips for all shipments
  • Check returned inventory for damages or missing items and log issues
  • Work within our project management software (ASANA) for schedule of hardware shipments and requirements
  • Maintain and assemble kits including assembly of stands, sticker card readers, update EMV firmware, set padlock codes, configure new iPads
  • Keep warehouse orderly and clean at all times
  • Breakdown boxes and organize supplies
  • Fulfill daily Shopify credit card reader orders
  • Approach all customers with an enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Available and willing to support at any hour for emergency needs
  • Available to work nights or weekends if needed
  • Count shirts, break down boxes, run power, stand in sun, rain, and dirt, and anything else customers need when on site


  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • 3+ years managing inventory
  • 3+ years in an office / warehouse environment
  • Great communication skills, both oral and written
  • Professional attitude with an enthusiastic, positive nature
  • Works well under deadlines and a fast-paced environment
  • Works with a “no job too big or small” attitude
  • Tech savvy
  • Proficient with Apple products including MacBooks and iPads
  • Has received, or is scheduled to receive, a COVID-19 vaccine
  • Able to move 100 pound cases on wheels
  • Able to lift 30 pounds over head
  • Able to climb and use warehouse steps
  • Self-starter who does not need to be micro-managed
  • Works great in a team and small company environment
